Happy Campers...

We just recently bought a travel trailer and took it out for our "maiden voyage". Unfortunately, it was raining when we arrived but that didn't stop us from getting outside. The girls entertained themselves with mud puddles, making a complete mess of themselves and their clothes! They also discovered that the campground had several goats in residence and a pond that a whole flock of ducks and geese called home. Both girls got a huge kick out of feeding the animals...well, Madison was more into chasing them! The following day turned out to be quite nice, with the sun shining and relatively warm weather. While Madison was napping, Samantha and I took a walk and played at the playground. Later that afternoon we took the girls down to the river and let them throw rocks, splash, and get their feet (and everything else!) wet. They loved it! Jeff built a campfire that night which captivated both the kids, although it was a full time job keeping Madison out of harms way. Turned out to be a great weekend, we really enjoyed ourselves and being together as a family. Can't wait for our next trip!
