A little something I created.
For Brandie's baby shower, part of my gift was a promise to design her baby annoucement :) So, now that little Autumn is here I got right to work. Here's what I came up with...

Welcome, baby.
Last night my new baby niece, Autumn Grace was born! She's 7lbs 10oz and oh so cute. She seems so tiny compared to my girls, yet it's hard to believe that Madison was even smaller at birth. I'm so excited to have a new baby girl in the family. Autumn's big brother, Aaron, and big sister, Alyssa, are just tickled pink with her...hopefully they'll remember that when she's keeping them awake at night ;)

Remember me?
Geesh, I sure have let a lot of dust and cobwebs collect on this 'ol blog of mine. I guess that's kind of appropriate for Halloween ;) This poor thing has been neglected since April, wow. Well, I'm rolling up my sleeves and digging in! Keep an eye out for updates, pics and some general fun stuff :)

Growing
With the gorgeous weather we've been having I took the opportunity to get some new close up shots of the girls. Wow, I can't believe how big they are getting. Every so often it catches me by surprise. You know that feeling you get one day as you're looking at them and realize that they look different, older. It's exciting, yet at the same time I well up fighting back tears, wishing they'd stay little forever. I had one of those days today.

iHelp
Oh, the joys of a 2yr. old discovering her independence. Madison is hell bent on doing everything herself these days. From getting dressed and putting on shoes, to buckling up her car seat. When you try to help her, you'll quickly hear the phrase "I help!" which is her way of saying "I want to do it by myself!". And she's not satisfied until your hands are completely clear. And Heaven forbid you try to step in and hurry things along as she struggles with a task, you'll hear her say again (only louder) "I HELP!".
Behind that smiling, sweet face lies a little girl who has a mind of her own and isn't afraid to use it. Later in life it's a quality that will come in handy but, right now it's teaching Mommy a thing or two about patience!

Looking Back and New Beginnings
I figured that today would be a good day to start using my blog again, since today is the six month mark since Jeff's accident. We've come a long way and are doing well. He still has a lot of recovery to do, but he's farther today than the doctors thought he'd be.
I'm just so incredibly grateful and thankful.
