Ugh...

Today has just not been my day, ugh.

Let me start at about 1am this morning when Madison decided she was going to wake up and scream in her crib until someone (me) came to get her. Only because Jeff had to go into work this morning did I drag myself, bleary eyed and half asleep, out of bed. She and I settle onto the couch for the rest of the night. Keep in mind that I never get "good" sleep when she and I are on the couch, I'm always half awake. I vaguely remember Jeff leaving at 5am, then much to my dismay Samantha got up at 7am, climbs up on the couch waking both me and Madison. Soon the requests for juice and breakfast start. Ugh, gotta start the day whether I'm ready or not. With huge doses of caffeine, things get moving at a normal pace.

We're working on potty training Samantha...and today is not going well, ugh. The first pair of panties barely make it 2 hours. The next pair accidentally get flushed down the toilet, sending Samantha into hysterics. I thought it was funny, she was crying her poor little heart out. Pair #3 didn't make it either. Pair #4 survives until nap time, thank goodness! For nap time we switch to a Pull-Up, then back to panties when she wakes up. Any bets on how many more pairs of panties bite the dust before bedtime tonight?!?!? Ugh.

On top of all that, I'm completely stressed out. Next Friday I'm going on a Scrap Weekend with friends, my first trip away from home (no husband, no children!!) since I was pregnant with Madison. Now, normally that would be cause for celebration. Except, normally I wouldn't be this far behind in getting ready. Oh, and not only have I not started packing...but my Mother-In-Law is going to be staying here with the girls since Jeff is working weekends. That means that this house has to be in "Mother-In-Law Clean" status before I go. Ugh. To top it off, Jeff is working graveyard overtime all next week. So, I'm on my own with the girls and this mile long list of things to get done before Friday. Oh, and one more minor detail...I've got a raging case of PMS. Ugh. There is one small ray of hope, my Mom has agreed to come help me out Wed. and Thurs. evening...God bless that woman!

So, yes, "ugh" pretty much sums up my day...and it's not over yet.

Ugh.

Oh man! I hope you can get some sleep tonight. Sorry about your day. And, I think one is hard. I'm in for it when the second gets here. LOL
