It was a laid back, easy day...just the way Jeff wanted it. In fact, he told me he planned to park his behind on the couch with drink in hand and watch every sporting event on tv that day! I let him sleep in, then when he got up the girls gave him their cards and the trailer chock things he wanted. The girls had gotten all into coloring on their cards and Samantha remembered to say "Happy Father's Day", all of this seemed to really touch Jeff. We had dinner with Jeff's brother and his family and had a great time! The girls love playing with their cousin's. We came back home, and a little bit later my sister arrived. The girls got baths and then both of them and Jeff, who had to be at work by 6am, went to bed. Lisa and I took the opportunity to watch a movie and chat before she left around midnight. A good day all in all!
Here are a couple of shots I got that morning while Madison "helped" Daddy shave...too cute!! Not to worry, in the 2nd pic Jeff had taken the blade out of the razor.
